With the escalation of online GIS mapping applications (demographic and business databases for example), it is becoming increasingly important for librarians to understand and be proficient with these tools; to best serve our patrons and conduct research. Learn several different ways of making maps and utilizing these resources using both free websites and databases. Participants will upload a list of addresses to create a point map and will shade in areas of interest to create a simple reference map.

This class is scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 from 9:00 - 11:00 am and will be held online using WebEx. For more information and to register, go to: https://members.mcls.org/workshops/viewcourse.html?id=350
