The question of where to look for sample policies arises frequently.  It is fairly easy to do a web search to find them - the ALA site encourages this:  http://www.ala.org/tools/sample-policies

Also, there is the Library of Michigan QSAC program with resources as appendices:  http://mi.gov/qsac

The COSLA (Chief Officers of State Library Agencies) has a resource:  http://www.cosla.org/content.cfm/id/resources_to_accompany_public_library_director_101_series_module_4

Wisconsin has some good links:  http://dpi.wi.gov/pld/boards-directors/policy-resources
Ohio as well:  http://www.statelibraryofiowa.org/ld/k-p/Policies

We are in need of library policies relating to R rated Movies, ID (checking) policies, and "lockdown" policies.  If anyone has a sample of their library's policies I would appreciate it.  Thanks in advance.

Luther Area Public Library
