Have you ever considered how eBooks might help with your library’s collection development strategy? -- fill gaps in your collection,
supplement your holdings on a trending topic (when everything you purchase seems to check out immediately and repeatedly), or provide access to those “classics” that are infrequently requested? MeL database
eBooks Collection may be a resource you can point patrons and staff to in these very situations. Over 20,000 eBooks are available at all levels
– children, young adult, and adult in both fiction and nonfiction. Find a title you’re interested in? Options include reading online in PDF format, EPUB or as a download to a desktop and certain devices after creating a free account. Set your preferences
for how the result list will display, to run Smarttext Search, autocomplete search suggestions, page layout, interface language, and more. Find titles through the browse by category option or basic and advanced search. A search history is maintained during
your active session and items to save for a future session and search alerts can be created under your free account. Detailed help is available at the ? icon. If you haven’t already, give MeL database
