The Louis Shores Award Committee is making its final call for nominations for this year.

The committee is seeking to identify individuals or groups (librarians, editors, reviewers, review sources, or organizations) who have accomplished significant achievement in reviewing materials for libraries.

The winner will be honored with a citation at the RUSA Awards Reception during ALA Annual 2016 in Orlando. If you or someone you know deserves extraordinary recognition for contributions to book or media reviewing please consider making a nomination to the Louis Shores Award Committee.

All kinds of reviewing are considered, from a library review blog, to a significant body of work as a reviewer, to those employed as book review editors and publishers. Online and in-print work is considered equally.

The letter should outline the nominee's contribution to the reviewing of books and other materials for libraries. Please include examples, links, and other supporting documentation if possible.
