Are you a member of the Michigan library community that loves to create? If so, consider designing a logo to submit for the 2016 Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Libraries Conference Logo contest. The winning member of the Michigan library community will receive a complimentary registration to the conference and have their design included in the printed program. The 2016 Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Libraries Conference is scheduled for May 4-6, 2016 at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. The theme for the 2014 RLC is "Transforming Libraries, Transforming Lives." Attached to this email is a file showing three previous winning logos. Please submit your artwork by November 30, 2015 in electronic format, to whites29@michigan.gov<mailto:whites29@michigan.gov>. The winner will be announced along with the conference programs in January 2016. When submitting your artwork remember: 1. Include your name, library and contact information 2. Use the full name of the event in your design - Loleta Fyan Small and Rural Libraries Conference and the conference theme: Transforming Libraries, Transforming Lives 3. Submit your entry by November 30, 2015 4. A specific file format is not necessary for your submission 5. We will email you that we have received your submission.
