The discounted pricing applies both to *new and existing *Recorded Books subscribers. This allows current subscribers to take advantage of potentially considerable savings at renewal time. Here are some salient points of information concerning each product:
*Magazines: *Access to the *ENTIRE *RBdigital collection of some* 3,800 **magazine titles*, compared to the current TLN collection of 175 active subscriptions, 327 total tiles, at *no cost increase* for current TLN subscribers. Also, libraries that are not part of the TLN magazine group can join the TLN magazine group at the TLN negotiated discount price, and also receive access to the 3,800 title collection. Special note for current, non-TLN magazine subscribing libraries: The Economist is the one RBdigital Magazines title that will not transfer from one collection to another. Thus, if your library currently receives its magazines via a direct relationship with Recorded Books, you will need to purchase a copy of The Economist if you wish to maintain access to that title as a member of the TLN magazine group.
*Unlimited Audiobooks: *Unlimited, simultaneous access to nearly 35,000 audiobook titles. 400+ new releases added every month. The collection value totals approximately $2,100.000.00 to start and an additional $20,000.00 in value added each month.
*Comics: *1,500 comic volumes from publishers *Disney, Marvel, Dark Horse and IDW*. Over 600,000 pages of eComics!
*Streaming Video: *7 day, unlimited checkout model for titles from Acorn TV, The Great Courses, Stingray Qello Concerts, and IndieFlix. Under the terms of the discounted price agreement, the annual platform fee for this service has been waived, the library only pays for use of the service, the 7-Day Unlimited Access Passes. $2.99 per patron per week.
*Unlimited Newspapers:* Unlimited access to over 2,500 newspapers, with 90 days of back issues, *including the Detroit News, *Chicago Tribune, New York Post, Los Angeles Times and many other newspapers from across the country. *Note*: Recorded Books is open to taking suggestions from us to share with its partner PressReader as to additional newspaper titles to include in this brand new service.
Orders, renewals and invoices will be handled through The Library Network. All subscriptions will follow a May 1 through April 30 renewal cycle. Current subscribers will be pro-rated so as to line up with the May 1 through April 30 renewal cycle.
