Michigan Yearbook Project Update
The Library of Michigan continues to make progress with its Michigan Yearbook Project. Through the generosity of hundreds of people, nearly
2,000 yearbooks have been donated to the collections of the Library of Michigan. Each yearbook represents the uniqueness of communities all across the state. A fascinating characteristic is the creative names that go with each institution's yearbook. Often
the name illustrates the milestone of academic accomplishment or reflect on aspects of the community. A few have unique names that demonstrate creativity at the next level. For example, several copies of "The Zookitizam" from Mt. Pleasant High School were
recently donated to the Library of Michigan.
