Hi all,

Whether it’s a first time job seeker or one looking for their next opportunity, individuals look for ways to develop skills that employers are looking for.  MeL database LearningExpress Library has resources in the Career Center to assist with a variety of needs including preparing for occupation and entrance exams, joining the military, building workplace skills, and preparing for WorkKeys® assessments.  ASVAB prep, TOEIC® prep, occupational exams in 16 areas ranging from CDL to plumbing, and more are addressed in eBooks, practice tests, and tutorials. (eBooks can be downloaded and used offline.)  In complement, a variety of Michigan specific and general web resources can be found in the MeL Jobs Gateway.  Michigan residents or Michigan library access only.

MeL Minutes are brought to you by the Library of Michigan.  Want more information on MeL?  Stay tuned for next week’s MeL Minute available on many Michigan library listservs, email us atcontact@mel.org or visit mel.org.  We encourage you to share MeL Minutes with your public service colleagues.
