The good news is that school is finally back in session for Michigan students.  The even better news is that MeL contains a group of Early Literacy & Elementary School Resources to help start the school year out right.  Found in the MeL Kids Gateway under Homework Helpers are 11 unique subscription eResources for grades PreK – 5:  BookFlix™,  Early World of Learning, World Book Kids, eBook K-8 Collection, NoveList K-8+, InfoTrac Junior Edition, Kids InfoBits, CultureGrams, eLibrary Elementary, SIRS Discoverer, and Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos.  Each has unique features designed to engage early learners and beginning researchers.  Pictures, sounds, learning exercises, science project plans, fiction and nonfiction books, maps, Common Core State Standards alignments, Spanish language; they’re all included in this collection.   Michigan residents or Michigan library access only.
