Hello,

Borrow a person instead of a book and have a conversation with them about their life story at the Human Library! Drop in this Saturday (August 12) from 11 AM - 3 PM at the West Bloomfield Township Public Library Main Branch to participate.

This event is hosted in cooperation with the Human Library organization, which aims to challenge stigmas and stereotypes to create more inclusive communities through conversations. Similar events have included Titles like Neurodiverse, Immigrant, Depression, Atheist, Veteran, and many more. No registration is required. Flyer attached.

If your library is interested in hosting a similar event, look into joining the Human Library Organization as a Publishing Partner. They now provide training for organizers and Human Book volunteers to ensure events run smoothly and safely.
