Lansing Community College has an immediate opening for a full time Library Technologist. This position serves as the technical and functional expert for all library technology applications. This position also team supervises circulation service operations, provides frontline library information assistance, and conducts research into user behavior to optimize library services, technology and space. In addition to recommending and implementing technology solutions, the Library Technologist assists with maintaining library webpages, social media, D2L, staff portal and digital signage.   

Hours and Salary

· Full time:  40 hours per week

· Hourly rate: $17.41 - $19.49

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree

· Minimum 2 years of customer service experience

· Supervisory experience

· Demonstrated work experience with computer hardware, software applications, and mobile devices

· Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills
