It is my pleasure to share the brochure and flyer for the Anita Naftaly Family Circle Conference being held on Sunday, October 27th at 1:00 pm with a Resource Fair, in The Berman Center for the Performing Arts, featuring Jennifer Cook O’Toole.

 

With creativity and humor, Jennifer will present ways to squash anxiety, develop social skills, bolster learning and enhance emotional awareness in her trademark entertaining and inspiring manner. Jennifer, an internationally acclaimed author and educator has Asperger’s along with her family members.

 

Additional Information:

·         JCC Members receive a $10 discount.

·         Social Worker credits (1.5) are available for an additional $10.

 

JCC’s Opening the Doors is proud to host author, Shelly Christensen, showcasing her first book: “From Longing To Belonging: A Practical Guide to Including People with Disabilities and Mental Health Conditions in Your Faith Community”, presented in collaboration with The Detroit Jewish Book Fair. This event is on Sunday, November 10th at 1:00 pm in The Berman Center for the Performing Arts. Shelly is an author and disability advocate.
