Hi all,
I've made some social media posts in the size of Instagram squares, in Canva, if anyone is interested in making a copy for their own Canva accounts and would like to use them, the link is here: Michigan Activity Pass Social Media.

Note: I like using Instagram squares because it's a perfect size that works well when scheduling posts for Insta and Facebook, and can also be used on Twitter/X.

There are some older posts I made last year in this Canva file but it's pretty easy to duplicate, and everything is in the scheme of MAP's new branding. I also added some example copy people can use in post descriptions if desired. Anyone that works with MAP is welcome to make edits in my file but I'm encouraging libraries to make their own copy in Canva to edit. I'll try and monitor this to make sure nothing gets drastically altered too much, just in case.

Those of us who have worked (and played) with the Michigan Activity Pass program for a decade or (approaching) two will recall that these two venues https://detroithistorical.org/detroit-historical-museum/plan-your-visit/general-information and https://detroithistorical.org/dossin-great-lakes-museum/plan-your-visit/general-information were "founding members" of MAP when the program launched in 2007. Back then the two venues constituted about 10% of the total number of MAP destination partners. They were popular with MAP patrons but both found it necessary to leave the program following a successful run of a number of years.

This morning I am pleased to welcome (back) both Detroit Historical Museum AND Dossin Great Lakes Museum to the Michigan Activity Pass program! Please share this great MAP news with your patrons via your social media.

The "terms of the pass" for both are as follows: "MAP pass holders receive one free admission. Please mention MAP at the museum front desk."
