I'm happy to announce that Stephanie Davis will be the new Manager of Group Purchasing at MCLS. She will begin on February 5. Stephanie has experience with license negotiations and brings a depth of knowledge of library operations to MCLS. Stephanie is currently the library director at North Central Michigan College in Petoskey. As director, she collaborated with the English Department to move the Writing Center into the library. She implemented LibGuides and led the restructure of the library website. Prior to that, Stephanie was director at Jackson College from 2012 to 2017. While there, she helped sharpen the library's strategic focus and managed the implementation of EBSCO Discovery Service. Stephanie's other jobs include information literacy coordinator at Northwestern Michigan College, outreach/instructional librarian at Kellogg Community College, and education librarian at Spring Arbor University.
