After 17 years of service to the Benzie Shores District Library, including eight years as Director, I’m excited to share that the Library is beginning its search for its next Library Director.

This is a wonderful opportunity to lead a truly special community library that has strong community support, dedicated staff and trustees, a millage in perpetuity, and a beautiful setting near Sleeping Bear Dunes.

We are seeking an experienced, collaborative, and community-minded leader to build on the library's strong foundation and help shape its next chapter.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $58,000–$70,000, along with a competitive benefits package.
