Are you a Class I-III library leader ready to grow your management and leadership skills? This Thursday, 10/29, at 7pm, is our first informational webinar about the 2021
Next Level Leadership in Small and Rural Libraries project, an in-depth, long-term exploration. (
Zoom links here)The program has four components:
- Participation in twice-monthly professional development sessions from December 2020 - November 2021
- A monthly informal chat with colleagues to talk shop
- A $1000 stipend to carry out a project designed for community impact
- A face-to-face conference (fingers crossed!) in November 2021 designed and led by participants
A laptop and access to Google Drive are required. Participant expenses -- including acquisition of a laptop if you do not have one -- are covered with a $1000 professional growth stipend.
Space is limited to 20 participants who will be selected by application based on their application, geographical diversity, balance of class sizes, and experiences. Preference is given to library directors but is also open to department heads and assistant directors. Online applications are due online on Friday, November 6.
