The Central Michigan University Libraries is accepting applications for a new Manager of Acquisitions and Resource Management. This 12-month position leads and manages the operations of the Acquisitions and Resource Management (ARM) department, including managing a $3 million acquisitions budget; selecting, monitoring, and evaluating library resource and metadata vendors; ensuring effective and efficient acquisitions processes; overseeing electronic resource management; and monitoring the quality of metadata in library resource records to ensure discoverability.
