“Supporting your Library’s Millage Campaign – How to Know your Role”
Looking at obtaining a library millage?
Planning a renewal campaign?
Want to know what a “yes” committee is?
Wondering what the library board and staff can do to help with the campaign without causing trouble?
Are you part of a friends’ group that is wondering if or how your group can help with a millage campaign?
I will discuss the basic dos and don’ts of millage campaign participation and support for each of these groups.
After this webinar, participants may expect to :

- A basic understanding of which laws govern political activities of library groups.
- Basic knowledge of the “Red Flags” to look for when considering ballot question/millage support activities.
- Basic knowledge of activities that are permitted for each of these groups,
