Hi all,
We recently had Aaron Jonah Lewis perform at the library. He's an incredibly talented banjo and fiddle player. He drew a crowd of 65 people which was a BIG crowd for us. I asked him if I could share his contact information with area libraries and his agent provided the below information.
Cheers,
Matt

Hello. I represent Detroit-based banjo player and fiddler Aaron Jonah Lewis, who is available for concerts and workshops in the year ahead.
A performance by Aaron ranges far and wide through the history of American fiddle and banjo traditions, including tunes and songs from various regions and time periods and the stories that go along with them. In addition to performances (that include information about the history of the music he's presenting), banjo and/or fiddle workshops would also be a possibility. Aaron has recently presented at the Berkley, MI and Hamtramck, MI Libraries, and last June Aaron did a workshop at the Kennedy Library in Muncie, IN. Aaron has enjoyed his work in libraries very much.
Aaron recently released a recording of classic banjo tunes (see attached one sheet).
See below for additional info about Aaron.
