On Friday November 22 at 1pm Eastern, we will discuss Sandra Hirsh's Library 2035. The book for December is The Canary Code: A Guide to Neurodiversity, Dignity, and Intersectional Belonging at Work by Ludmila Praslova. The Book Club is open to anyone interested in library leadership and management. The books are a mix of high-concept, big picture, and more practical. So far, we've read Radical Candor: How to Be A Kickass Boss Without Losing your Humanity by Kim Scott, The public library director's HR toolkit by Kate Hall & Kathy Parker, and Dare to Lead: Brave Work, Tough Conversations, Whole Hearts by Brene Brown, all of which we might repeat at some point if membership grows and turns over.
