Kelanine, the site I found to do this project which looks like a lot of fun is http://tinkering.exploratorium.edu/paper-circuits. It suggested sparkfun.com to purchase the tape. sparkfun.com <http://www.sparkfun.com/products/10561> (part # PRT-10561). It is 5mm and 50ft with a thickness of 3 MIL . The price is also $2.95 a roll but the price goes down the more you order. Hope this helps! Would anyone out there who has done a paper circuits program with adhesive copper tape be willing to share where you found the tape at a decent price? Need it for about 300-500 person event. I'm seeing some for $2.95 a roll (1/4 in width, 50 feet) but it doesn't have conductive adhesive and is pretty thin (.08 mm thick) and am wondering if it will work well enough to light up a 5mm led powered by a cr2032 coin cell battery? I can't afford the over $10-20 dollars a roll I'm seeing on other sites.
