MIRS BREAKING NEWS: Gov Closing All Lower Peninsula State Offices At
Noon Today -- 11:53 a.m.

Gov. Rick *SNYDER* announced this morning that all Lower Peninsula
state offices will close at noon today because of a winter storm
expected to drop 8 to 12 inches of snow across most of lower Michigan.


The State Emergency Operations Center will remain open to manage the
Flint water emergency and will monitor storm conditions.

Updates on building closures will be posted to www.michigan.gov.

p.m. today.
