Greetings!

As you probably have heard, the Library of Michigan, with LSTA funds, purchases a Statewide Library membership in United for Libraries.

United For Libraries is the Division of the American Library Association that focuses on issues and resources for Library Trustees and Friends groups.

In addition to providing access to  training and organizational resources, the United For Libraries membership includes print and digital copies of The Voice newsletter.

Every Michigan Public Library receives a subscription to a print copy of  The Voice, and a digital archive of this newsletter is available on the United For Libraries website.

The Voice contains a wealth  of current awareness information and tips for Library Trustees, Friends, Library Directors and Library staff.

Take a look at “The Voice:”

Log in to the United for Libraries website and going to either the TRUSTEE ZONE or the FRIENDS ZONE. You will see  either “The Voice,” or “Newsletter”  listed on the right navigation. (you must be logged in to access either the Trustee Zone or the Friends and Foundation Zone):

You can also access it here (you will still need to login):

From  the Trustee Zone:

From the Friends and Foundation Zone
