Melanie Van Patten of E-rate Central will present on the new monies available through the E-rate program for schools and libraries. If you apply for E-rate, or would consider
doing so, this workshop is for you. There's 7.1 billion earmarked for connectivity for schools and libraries through E-rate. The rules for how to spend it come out Monday, May 11. Join us to learn the specifics on Friday, May 14 at 1 PM ET. E-rate is the federally
funded program that provides for refunds of 20-90% on Internet bills and additional services. Participants will learn how a library can benefit from these additional federal dollars in the program.
