I'm happy to report that Stair District Library's 10-year millage renewal passed by nearly 72%.
In the City of Morenci it passed by 83%, but we did not do as well in the townships: 66% in one and 54% in the other.
I'd love to see a different method of funding libraries...I feel like all the farmers hate me (and I was even an FFA member in high school!).
Particulars for Joe:
Millage rate: 1.2342 (Original in 2015 was 1.25 but my board didn't want to ask for an increase to restore it.)
