For the ozone generator, note "Use in unoccupied space only." Be careful to use the device properly. That means no pets or people while it is running and for a defined period of time afterward. "Space" could mean the whole building, not just a room. On Wed, Jun 13, 2018 at 9:51 AM, ehansen--- via Michlib-l < michlib-l@mcls.org> wrote:
Hello to all, Thank for your suggestions on how to deodorize nicotine infused books. I had many replies, and I also had a lot of requests that I would share these results. Here is how respondents are fixing this problem.

I confess I am leaning toward trying the ozone generator, cat litter, and charcoal. We have experimented with methods that introduce new smells and I have heard some complaints.

Hello All,
We are experimenting with ways to remove tobacco smells from books. Have any of you developed a good process for removing this cigarette smell?
Thanks,
