The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a continuation of the Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) with a few changes is in place. Note the name change and further details below.

The benefit provides a discount of up to $30 per month toward internet service for eligible households and up to $75 per month for households on qualifying Tribal lands. Eligible households can also receive a one-time discount of up to $100 to purchase a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet from participating providers if they contribute more than $10 and less than $50 toward the purchase price. The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.

 

Eligibility

 

A household is eligible if a member of the household meets at least one of the criteria below:

 

 

Don’t let a lack of information keep eligible families from your communities from signing up for this federal subsidy. The EBB toolkit has been modified for the ACP, but still has all the printable resources needed to spread the word (in English and Spanish).
