Buchanan and Kalamazoo Public, the Library Board wholeheartedly (but somewhat
surprisingly!) approved my suggestion that we eliminate overdue fines. As a
result, I
am pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2020, the Galesburg-Charleston
Memorial District Library is going "fine-free!"
