My disappointment as a Freegal user was that so many of their selections were knock-offs of the originals. Or cuts made by the original artists, but not the cut released to the broader public. Sometimes I liked these better, but I still wanted the official version. On the other hand, it is free.

At the same time, I don't sense that our patrons use Freegal very much. I am in the process of trying to get usage stats, but haven't gotten very far on that yet. I'm basing this mostly on the fact that I've never had a question about Freegal, but maybe that's only a testament to its ease of use???
