Wow! Interesting conversation. I have never heard of this in the school library world and we're really dealing with the same patrons. I'm glad I have been paying attention. What a crazy thing to be happening! and who has this much time on their hands? I just wonder if public libraries around the US are sending this person/group prizes to make it a lucrative venture???I think I will share with my MAME colleagues and post on LM_NET. Word really needs to get out about this and the delete button taken advantage of.KlaudiaKlaudia Janek, MLIS

Subject: [Michlib-l] Experience with IDDDYSRCC
Hello Everyone,
I got an email from a young man in California wanting to participate (long distance) in our Summer Reading Program. He is a member of the I Double Dog Dare You Summer Reading Challenge Contest. Does anyone have experience with this? It sounds legit, but I would like to hear from past participants.
Thank you,
