Please pass along the information about upcoming trustee training events to your own public library board members.
The Library of Michigan will be holding two in-person Trustee Roundtables in July.
July 11, 2022, 1:00pm-3:30pm - Farmington Community Library, Liberty Street Branch
for more information or to register, visit the Event
Registration Page.
July 14, 2022, 1:00pm-3:30pm - Petoskey, Carnegie Building for more information or to register, visit the Event
Registration Page.
These two events provide an opportunity for public library trustees to meet with other trustees from around the state and discuss issues facing Michigan public libraries. Participants will also learn
about resources available from the Library of Michigan. We hope to see many of you at the two locations in July. If you are unable to attend this summer look out for an announcement for a similar event to be held virtually in the late fall. Bring your questions
and your best advice!
In September we have the return of online trustee training.
