The Oakland University Libraries seek two highly dependable, resourceful part-time librarians to provide exceptional research assistance at our research help desk and through individual research consultations with library users, and to deliver in-person library instruction to first-year students. The successful candidates will also contribute to various library projects as assigned.

Hours and salary: Includes weekday, evening and weekend shifts. Starting salary: $20 per hour, approximately 15 hours per week.

Qualifications:  Required: ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent with a strong commitment to teaching and public service; prior experience providing reference service. Desired:  Library instruction experience, preferably in an academic library setting.
