This week we're discussing reopening plans during our MLA Connect Coffee Hour, scheduled Thursday, June 4 at 10am. Plan to grab a cozy mug of your favorite beverage and join MLA Executive Director Debbie Mikula as she moderates a panel discussion about how libraries across the state are planning their safe reopening.

We are excited to welcome Lance Werner, Director, Kent District Library, Valerie Meyerson, Director, Petoskey District Library and Megan Buck, Director, Dickinson County Library, as our coffee hour guest panelists. Panelists will discuss how they created their libraries' reopening plans, important phases and milestones included in their plans, and hurdles their libraries are facing.

Each week we provide a platform for you to ask questions, share ideas, and provide input to other library professionals struggling with the global health crisis, remote work, and how to prepare for the future.

This coffee hour is free to attend to anyone interested in joining the conversation! A maximum of 500 attendees can join the live event. Registered attendees will receive information and a link to access the meeting on the Zoom platform. A recording of the session will be available on the MLA website for those unable to attend the live event.
