Diane, I did a DIY Succulent Planter Take & Make Kit for Teens and Adults at the end of June that was a huge success. I started with 15 kits and had at least that many on the wait list right away. I was able to get more plants and all of the rest of the supplies and ended up making 40 kits and all were picked up! Supplies were purchased from Dollar Tree and Lowes. I purchased the succulents from Kroger for $1 each, which is a bargain. I think these succulents are still available at Kroger as long as they have plants outside, which is where they were at the Kroger stores in the Detroit Metro area. Total cost of the kits were approximately $5 per kit, one kit per person. I can send my instructions for the kits and the amounts for each supply item included in the kit, if anyone is interested. So we are in the process of planning our fall newsletter, and in need of some ideas. Take home crafts are still in the works, but I was hoping for some ideas that were not craft related. Was thinking about handing out some new solitaire card instructions, maybe an elf on the shelf for adults where they could post pictures on our facebook. A virtual book club did not work well here.
