The BHPL has decided to move to curbside for book service, but still allow people in for computers and the copier/fax machine. This will start on Monday January 10 and is due in part to the rising level of Covid in the community (the spread has been over 40% for the last two days according to our local hospital) and because my library is facing a devastating staff shortage. We will continue to reassess the situation and this will hopefully be only in place for a short time. I am opting for a mask mandate instead of reverting back to curbside. Probably until the end of the month, but we are a small library so it shouldn't be a problem for us.

I just saw that. We have it as a response scenario in case we have a large portion (about 40%+) out in quarantine, paired with reduced hours so we don't burn out the others. But, as of right now (Tuesday, January 4 at 4pm), it's not an immediate option for us. For comparison, our county is next to Kalamazoo County, but our most recent figures have us at 16% positivity.
