There's still time to submit a UMSI project idea! |
Receive recommendations for improving the user experience of an interactive product or system central to your work by hosting a project for SI 622: Needs Assessment and Usability Evaluation.
As a project host, you will receive capacity-building deliverables from a small team of graduate students at the University of Michigan School of Information (UMSI) based on project work that occurs from January-April 2024. Students will use specific methods such as interaction mapping, user interviews, comparative analysis, surveying, heuristic evaluation, and user testing to identify areas in which your product or system succeeds and illuminate areas where users encounter confusion or difficulty.
Why Host a Project? There is no cost to host a project. In exchange for your time in working with a student team, you will receive free consultation, recommendations, analyses, and reports that you can you utilize to address organizational challenges. By hosting a project, you will also be providing students with impactful, real-world learning experiences, so it's a win-win!
Submit your project idea as soon as possible, but no later than Friday, October 27. |
