Marshall District Library is very excited to be hosting Jim Daniels next Tuesday, June 16 @ 6 pm.

We welcome you to attend &/or share with your communities.

A stop on the Library of Michigan’s Michigan Notable Books Tour, Marshall District Library welcomes author Jim Daniels for a special visit. His essays on his childhood in Michigan–An Ignorance of Trees: A Memoir in Essays–was chosen as one of the 20 notable books of 2026. As a special treat, staff from the Library of Michigan will be joining us to officially acknowledge Daniels as the 2025-26 Michigan Author Award recipient. This award recognizes significant Michigan authors with a lifetime achievement award.  Ages 18+. Registration is requested but not required.
