The Friends of Michigan Libraries will hold a "Talk About Friends" discussion at the Tecumseh District Library on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. This open discussion will run from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tecumseh District Library is located at 215 N Ottawa St, Tecumseh, MI  49286.

"Talk About Friends" is an informal meeting that provides opportunities for Friends to share their ideas, activities, and events with other Friends groups - a time to learn from each other about wonderful projects that have helped to focus on the library as an invaluable resource in the community.

Meet with members of other Friends groups to learn about and discuss:
  • Successful fundraising
  • Volunteer recruitment
  • Challenges and Opportunities your Friends group is facing
  • And hear about a free resource from United For Libraries and the Library of Michigan

A meeting agenda has been posted at http://foml.org/eventsconferences/talk-about-friends-meeting/.

There is no cost for this meeting, but FOML requests that you register names of those attending from each library at http://foml.org/meeting-registration/.

Light refreshments will be provided by the Woodlands Library Cooperative.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Linda Pierce at the info below. Please join us at the Tecumseh District Library on November 9th to talk about Friends! We look forward to seeing you there.
