CSLP Summer Symposium
Thank you for your patience as we worked through some tech issues with Webex. We understand that some of you weren’t able to get into the session. Materials, the continuing education certificate and recordings associated with
the Symposium are/will be housed on our website here:
https://www.cslpreads.org/summer-symposium-2021/. We just have to caption and post the videos, so give us a few days to get that processed. Your state rep (Cathy Lancaster) will let you know as soon as they are up! For those of you that attended the symposium,
or after you watch the recordings, we would love to know how it went for you. What did we do well? What can we change for next year? We need your feedback:

The
Teens' Top Ten is a "teen choice" list, where teens nominate and choose their favorite books of the previous year! Nominators are members of teen book groups in fifteen school and public libraries around the country.
Nominations are posted on the Thursday of National Library Week, and teens across the country vote on their favorite titles each year. Readers ages twelve to eighteen will vote
online between August 15 - October 15 here on the Teens' Top Ten site.
Teens' Top Ten Book Groups:
APPLICATIONS for 2022-2023 Books Groups is now open.
Learn more about how you can apply to participate in the Teens' Top Ten book groups here.
Meet the 2021 Teens' Top Ten book groups, who will choose the nominees for the next
year.
Join the South Asia National Outreach Consortium and the SABA Awards Committee on Wednesday, December 8 at 7:30pm EST in a virtual celebration of Children's and Young Adult literature on South Asia and its
diasporas. Meet the authors amplifying South Asian stories and how these stories can be used in homes, classrooms, and libraries. We invite teachers, librarians, and families to join us to take part in this celebration.
