We are also experiencing this at our Library. Like Sleeper Public Library these items are sent in a padded envelope and are to
be returned in the same. I echo their request to please take the time to check before sending items back to the original libraries.

We too are having a problem with our materials being returned without packing. These items are sent in a padded envelope and are to be returned in the same. Please take the time to check before sending items back to the original libraries.

Subject: [Michlib-l] Please pay attention to Pack vs No-Pack
I'm the main MelCat person in my library who unpacks, and I'm running into quite a few that aren't packed. We have a label that says "PACK" in large,
bold, all-caps, that's being ignored. Instead, they're coming back wrapped in rubberbands, which are warping the soft-covered books, and damaging pages.
Please, please, please, make sure if the library requests that an item (whether it be a book, CD, DVD or anything else) be packed, please honor that
request!
Thank you,
