Forest History, Then and Now (Via Zoom)
October 19 from 6:30pm-8:00pm-Free
Join us via Zoom as Mark Stormzand, forester and author of the book Stormy Outside : The Adventures and Misadventures of a Forester and His Dog, for an enlightening picture of the history and future of Michigan’s forests.
We will learn about the history of the forests – who used to use them before the Europeans arrived, how they were utilized improperly, recovery efforts to bring them back, and how we can help conserve forests for the future.
