[Michlib-l] Parents picking up students after school

Hi all, Our library is right next to the middle school, so of course we get a lot of after school traffic. We've been noticing that as parents stop by to pick up their kids around 5 pm, they tend to pull up to the curb right outside our entrances and wait, blocking walkways and driveways, which can inconvenience other library users. If you experience a similar pick-up rush, how have you dealt with this? Has signage helped? Our building monitor will ask people to move their cars, but "traffic cop" shouldn't need to be one of her duties. Thanks in advance for any and all ideas!
