KCPL has an operating budget of over $9.4 million including over $700,000 for materials, a newly renovated Main library, 9 branches and a new book mobile. I started here in September. I think it's a great place to live and work. *Regional Branch Manager-Eastern Region of Kanawha County* Kanawha County Public Library system Status: Full-time The Kanawha County Public Library (KCPL) is accepting applications for an exciting opportunity to work as the Regional Branch Manager. The Regional Branch Manager is responsible for oversight of 3 branch locations and a book mobile. Minimum Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Library Science awarded by ALA accredited institution • Two (2) or more years of professional librarian experience • Two (2) or more years of direct supervisory experience • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and other office software *Reference Librarian - Main Library* Kanawha County Public Library system Status: Full-time The Kanawha County Public Library (KCPL) is accepting applications for a Reference Librarian. The Reference Librarian is focused on delivering the highest possible level of library service while working to deliver general and specialized reference, information, and readers’ advisory services. This position provides professional-level support to the Head of Reference Services in a variety of areas, to include collection management. Serves on a team of 4 reference librarians and 1 parapro. Will spend 1/3-1/2 of your hours on desk. Works one evening per week, one Saturday per month, and occasional Sunday afternoons during the school year. This position will be assigned lead responsibilities for the Federal Depository Library Program and the Candid (formerly Foundation Center) library partner program. Minimum Qualifications: • Master’s degree in Library Science awarded by ALA accredited institution • Minimum of one (1) year of related experience working with or providing informational services to the public • Proven skills for general computer use, to include Microsoft Office softw are, the internet, mobile devices, ILS, general office and library equipment *Accounting Services Coordinator - Main Library* Kanawha County Public Library system Status: Full-time Manages all functions related to the financial services of the Kanawha County Public Library system, Library Foundation, and related entities or projects. The Accounting Services Coordinator will plan, coordinate, and work closely with the Assistant Director-Finance.
