Trish, I have a visiting authors program at my two school libraries .... these are some of the authors we have invited to speak. (Elementary) Carol Tremain Robbyn & Gijsbert (Nick) Van Frankenhuyzen (YA authors) Eliot Schrefer Emily Deibel-direct (new self published) Bethany Neal-direct Cori McCarthy-agent/publicist Gordon Korman-agent Tim Green-agent Ben Mikaelsen-agent (Adult) Kimberly McCreight-agent Kelly Fordon-direct (Michigan Notable) Josh Malerman-direct (Michigan Notable) (I added few that have presented at MAME too) The Michigan authors are usually much less expensive. Check the Michigan authors database through MeL too; they have a lot of resources. On Tue, Nov 15, 2016 at 8:33 AM, Trish Burns <tburns@baycountylibrary.org> wrote:
Good morning! My great Friends group wants to sponsor an author visit in 2017. For those of you have had successful author visits, would you please let me know who it was and whether you went through an agent or booking service? Thanks much -
