Hello everyone, I was passing on word about an upcoming event: Memoir-Writing Workshop - featuring Your Personal Memoir, LLC Thursday, December 4th, 2014 7:00 pm Graubner Library (Romeo District Library) - 65821 Van Dyke, Washington, MI Susan Carroll and Gigi Van VanderWeele of Your Personal Memoir will be conducting a free presentation which details the steps of collecting and preserving stories to create a memoir book. They will also explain the value of preserving family stories, how to get started on a memoir, interviewing techniques and how to self-publish. Participants will practice storytelling and come away equipped and inspired to record family stories to be enjoyed for generations to come. Questions will be taken after the presentation. This event is free and open to the public. Registration is encouraged by calling 586-752-0603 (Option 4 at the phone menu) but not required.
