Greetings,
Thanks to our good friends at the Technology Readiness Infrastructure Grant (TRIG) program through the Michigan Department of Education, libraries across Michigan have been let it on low costs for device purchasing through a cooperative
bid. The purchasing window opens on April 15th and closes on August 14th.
Many different devices will be available from desktops to tablets across a spectrum of operating systems. Do you need new Public Access Computers? Staff computers? Devices for a petting zoo? Tablets that patrons can check out for use in
or outside of the library? This could be a great opportunity to get excellent pricing.
What’s more, these prices are also extended to Friends and Family. Library staff, friends, and Board of Trustee members can all purchase off this contract for their personal use.
·
All of the Device Purchasing info can be found by selecting Device Purchasing under the Activities menu item across the top. Once you're in the Device Purchasing section, you can get to different
pages using the menu on the right.
Many thanks to our friends in the education community for including us in this cooperative bid!
