A reminder that the Library of Michigan has two current grant programs open, the Improving Access to Information grant and the CARES Act grant. Please consider applying for either or both.
Improving Access to Information Grant program
CARES Act Grant program
- Eligibility: Public libraries
- Deadline: 4 weeks after the EO closing libraries to public accommodation is lifted
- Amount:
- PPE and Library Sanitization supplies and services - $500 plus $300 per branch location (NON-COMPETITIVE)
- Digital Inclusion supplies and services - $1,000 to $5,000 depending on Class Size (COMPETITIVE based on local unemployment, SNAP, Broadband availability and poverty levels)
- Grant Period: Summer 2020 to Summer 2021 (Dates TBA)
