As you look ahead to planning Spring programming, please keep the following event week in mind from Michigan’s DNR. Could be a cool tie-in to promoting 2019’s “A Universe of Stories” summer reading program. More from me later on possible collaboration for libraries with the DNR.

INTERNATIONAL DARK SKY WEEK

International Dark Sky Week will take place April 15-21, 2018 and will offer plenty of opportunities for stargazing and views of the night sky. Our six Dark Sky Preserves will stay open late for self-guided viewing. Please call ahead for individual park hours.
