
Good afternoon, As requesting is already suspended, we're moving forward a day late with the MeLCat (elibrary.mel.org) upgrade on Wednesday, March 18, at 8:30 AM. We will send a message when the upgrade & testing is complete. MeLCat Implications: 1. MeLCat renewals may get a "server unavailable" message. 2. Library staff can process materials, but updates are held until the server comes back up. MyMeLCat Implications: 1. Users can access their MeLCat requests through other methods: -- DCB library users by a direct link: [DCB1] https://dcb1.mel.org/patroninfo [DCB2] https://dcb2.mel.org/patroninfo [DCB3] https://dcb3.mel.org/patroninfo [DCB4] https://dcb4.mel.org/patroninfo -- Innovative & Polaris/API library users by the local library account login page. MeL eResources Implications: 1. The MeL eResources at https://mel.org/az.php will verify Michigan users based on the IP address of their computer. 2.
