Hi Susan,

At the Romeo District Library, we used to pay $5 to wear jeans on Thursdays, but they got rid of the fee overtime. Now, we can still wear jeans on that day but without any catches.

Susan,

We began a Jean Day program in July of 2013.  On Fridays and Saturdays FT staff (pages are allowed jeans at all times) donate $1 to wear jeans.  It has served as a morale booster and generated $11,120 for 75 different local charities to date.  Our Finance Manager (Amy Goldyn) does a great job administering the program and comes up with occasional special Jean Days (ie Wednesday before Thanksgiving etc).

:o)
